CNC machined from 5mm 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium — significantly stronger than the 3mm thin-gauge guards included with stock bikes — this full-coverage bash plate wraps around the motor casing, battery bottom rail, and frame downtube to shield all critical components from rock strikes. Ventilation cutouts machined into the plate allow heat to escape from the motor controller and battery pack, preventing thermal throttling during sustained hard riding in Australian summer conditions. Hard anodised matte black finish resists corrosion in salt-air coastal environments.
